@LunchtimeLiveNT's Andrea Gilligan seemed surprised when the incidence of autism in children presenting with gender distress came up on Thursday's programme.

Regarding GIDS at the Tavistock which Irish children were referred to:

"A large number of the patients who were being prescribed with puberty blockers had autism, or had been exposed to major trauma, or had very serious family problems, Bell said."
