Dublin Pride Does Pride come before Garda impartiality? Mr Justice Linden in the UK referring to that country's Equality Act 2010 pointed out that if there is a breach of the duty of impartiality “it is no answer to say that the breach was for laudable reasons or to achieve equality related objectives.” Would the same apply here in Ireland?
Dublin Pride Gardai need to follow PSNI in showing no favour to a political lobby Women exercising our right to freedom of expression need to know that the Gardai will protect us from transactivists as the PSNI did in Belfast a few months ago. It's critical that our police force shows no favouritism to a lobby which includes Transactivism given its threats to women's rights.
